Fire Risk Assessment

DS Fire provides comprehensive fire risk assessment services in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, supporting duty holders in meeting their legal obligations to identify, assess, and manage fire risk.

Our assessments are risk-based and proportionate, considering the building, occupants, management arrangements, and operational use. We assess means of escape, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency lighting, fire compartmentation, fire resisting construction, active fire protection measures, and fire safety management procedures, providing clear, prioritised recommendations to reduce risk to an acceptable level.

In addition to commercial and industrial premises, DS Fire has experience undertaking fire risk assessments for healthcare environments, including hospitals, clinics, care homes, and other healthcare sites. These assessments take full account of vulnerable occupants, progressive horizontal evacuation, staff response, and continuity of care, with reference to relevant healthcare guidance such as HTMs and sector-specific best practice.
